Another 62 Argentines Evacuated from UAE

Buenos Aires, March 10 (NA) – Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno confirmed on Monday that another 62 Argentine citizens affected by the conflict in the Middle East have left the United Arab Emirates on Emirates airline flights bound for Buenos Aires and São Paulo. In total, more than 400 Argentines have managed to leave the country since the United States and Israel launched their offensive against Iran last week. 'With these departures, a total of 440 Argentines have left the UAE since the partial resumption of air operations,' the Minister of Foreign Affairs detailed in his X account, as confirmed by the Noticias Argentinas news agency. Argentines were able to leave the country on flights scheduled by Emirates, as part of an operation coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to assist compatriots stranded in the region due to flight restrictions amid airstrikes in the area. The operation is taking place in a context of high logistical complexity, due to the cancellation of numerous flights and the intermittent opening of airspace in the Middle East. In recent hours, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs assured that the special flight schedule from the United Arab Emirates and other countries in the region remains active to facilitate the return of Argentines 'as quickly and safely as possible'.
